WTJ Insurance Brokers Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and our regulatory number is 306909. We are permitted to advise you on your Insurance needs, arrange cover with Insurers on your behalf and assist in claims handling, in respect of non-investment regulated products. We provide advice to customers upon a fair analysis of the Insurance Market in respect of this type of Insurance. For some classes we may deal with a smaller number of Insurers or a single specialist Insurer. We will inform you of this should the occasion arise.

Your Insurance is based upon the information provided to the Insurance Company and it is your duty to ensure that such information is complete and accurate and that all material facts that may influence the insurers decision to accept the policy is disclosed throughout the term of the Policy.
Warning. Any failure to disclose material information may invalidate your Insurance cover and affect the amount payable in the event of a claim.
You may have a statutory right to cancel this Policy within fourteen days of inception. The Policy or the summary provided will supply details. If you wish to cancel, Insurers may charge a pro-rata premium for the Insurance granted. For certain types of Commercial Insurance Policies certain Insurers will only provide cover where the Premium is due in full on inception. This means therefore that no refund will be paid if the Policy is cancelled prior to renewal.
We will treat all information you supply to us with the utmost respect and where appropriate in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998. You have the right to access this information at any time and if you wish to do so please contact us on 01924 871111 or write to us.
In addition to the premiums charged by Insurers we may make the following charges -:

A Fee for our services may be added which will be agreed at the time of the Insurance being arranged.
Payment of premiums etc may be made by Credit or Debit Card, for which an additional 1% handling fee will be charged.
Commission and Fees will be retained on any refund of premiums to cover the cost of administration.
If you need to notify a claim under your Insurance, please refer to your Policy or Summary provided. You may notify the Insurer direct as soon as possible after the event or you may contact us during office hours on 01924 871111.
For certain classes of business we may operate block Insurance Arrangements, in order to provide competitive terms for our clients. It may be necessary for us to transfer these blocks from one Insurer to another in order to maintain the levels of service and cover you require.
This Terms of Business Agreement gives us your permission to do this without prior reference to yourself.
Following premium payment your monies will be held in a Statutory Bank Account prior to being paid to the Insurers for whom we act as agents. Your money is protected at all times in accordance with the FSA Rules. We retain the right to any interest earned.
Should you have reason to complain about the level of service we provide please address this complaint to Sharon Fitzpatrick at our office. You may be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and you may contact them by telephone on 0845 080 1800 or on www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk. If you decide to refer any matters to the FOS your rights will not be affected.
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Service (FSCS). You may under certain circumstances be entitled to compensation if we fail to meet your obligations. This does depend on the type of business arranged and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim.
