Congratulations to Karen Woodhead who raised more than £1,000 for The Christie charity by throwing herself out of a plane flying at 15,000ft.
The Young Oncology Unit, Christie Hospital provides care for teenagers and young adults from all over the North West with cancer and its related illnesses. Money donated to the Young Oncology Unit funds a number of different projects in the fight against cancer in children and young adults. This money supports vital research into new treatments and the causes of the cancers which affect young people, whilst also enabling the unit to provide the very best facilities, equipment, staff and environment for the treatment of our patients.
Thank you to everyone who supported.
